ASKK NY launched in 2017 with a clear mission at heart: “To make simple clothes you can make yours.” Crafted in LA from premium materials, these are wardrobe essentials that endure. Behind ASKK NY are veteran designers and longtime friends Andrea Suarez and Katrina Klein. When we say these women know their stuff, we mean it.
AS - Andrea has over 20 years experience on the business side of fashion, namely launching Rag & Bone’s direct-to-consumer business and working with brands such as Paul Smith and Salvatore Ferragamo. She has always focused on the needs of the consumer and has never been driven by runway shows or trends. Andrea makes clothes that people want to wear.
KK - Katrina is somewhat of a denim expert. She began her career at J Brand as its first employee, developing and creating what has become one of the most relevant denim brands in the marketplace. From J Brand, she moved on to Rag & Bone as the first denim designer (yep!). There she helped launch and build its denim category, which soon became the cornerstone of the brand’s business. Katrina has applied her knowledge and expertise of fit and comfort to ASKK NY.
